Vocal Coaching

Aisling is regularly invited to give public singing workshops and runs a private vocal studio. She is a part-time lecturer in music at DCU and recently gave workshops on DCU’s MA in Choral Studies and Choral Leadership Day. She is vocal coach to the choirs of St Nicholas’ Schola Cantorum in Galway and in 2019 was invited as a vocal coach on Sing Ireland’s International Choral Conducting Summer School and the Kodály International Summer Course. She has given masterclasses and coached on chamber music at the Cork School of Music and was invited as a guest lecturer on the MA in String Performance at the Irish World Academy of Music. She regularly facilitates workshops for choirs with Mark Duley and Resurgam and was a mentor on Sestina’s Summer Mentoring Programme. She has worked with many of Ireland’s choirs including Galway Baroque Singers, Mornington Singers, Laetare, Dun Laoghaire Choral Society, Vox Orbis, Galway Choral Association, Gracenotes, UCD Community Choir, AIB Choral Society, Limerick Choral Union, and Capella Lyrica. Aisling enjoys working with singers of all ages and given her extensive background in choral singing, she is particularly interested in helping choral singers develop their vocal potential.

Aisling has worked as a choral conductor and has co-directed and produced full scale musical theatre productions including South Pacific, No No Nanette, and The Yeomen of the Guard. She is comfortable teaching various styles of singing including classical, pop, musical theatre and folk.
